This scenic round tour starts in Switzerland, at the relaxed St. Johann Park in Basel, and follows the Rhine downstream past the impressive Novartis Campus to the French border. From there, you cycle along the Quai du Rhin through the charming town of St. Louis, past the picturesque Canal de Huningue, and cross the elegant Tri-Nation Bridge – the world's longest free-standing pedestrian and cycle bridge – into Germany.

 

In Weil am Rhein, you continue across the border back into Switzerland, riding through the Kleinhüningen Rhine port area – a fascinating zone in transition between industry, logistics, and urban development. Shortly after, you reach the symbolic Three-Country Monument, where Switzerland, Germany, and France meet.

 

On the way back, you follow the Rhine upstream and pass Holzpark Klybeck, a creative open-air space full of alternative culture and urban flair. The tour ends on a true highlight: a ride across the Dreirosen Bridge, offering a spectacular panoramic view of the Rhine and all three countries – the perfect way to close the evening.
